The vines were planted in this region from Roman times, in the first century BC The citadel of Bourg-sur-Gironde gave its name to this wine-growing areas:
the Bourgeais.

Blend : 62% Merlot, 25% Malbec, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification : In oak barrels
Ageing Potential : This wine can be consumed now, will reach its fullness by 2018/2024.

Area : 19 hectares.

Beautiful balanced matter,with a vanilla oakiness and complex black fruit notes.
