Château de Bordes-Quancard 2018

Acquired in 1948, Château de Bordes reflects the deep rooting of the company in the Bordeaux terroir and its new momentum from the middle of the 20th century. Situated halfway between the company’s head office in Carbon Blanc and the historic estate of Terrefort in Cubzac-les-Pont, the château originally housed a stud farm.

Blend : 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc
Vinification :  Maceration for a period of 19 days

Ageing potential : Ready to drink now, this wine will reach its full potential around 2024/2026

Dégustation :

Deep purple-crimson colour; very aromatic nose with notes of ripe raspberries.Direct on the palate, with flavours of tart red fruit, blueberries and redcurrants. Delicious finish with very supple tannins from grapes harvested at optimal ripeness.A very well-made wine.

Accompagnement :

Perfect with red meat, poultry and cheese.
